Zizzabee Quilt Pattern – Printed Booklet
Zizzabee Quilt Pattern – Printed Booklet
This angular creature was born from an attempt to create a quilt block inspired by the Ghost Orchid flower.
Captivated by western Washington’s annual bloom bonanza, also known as Spring, I had been working on triangularizing my local flora when I took a zig over to the Ghost Orchid after a serendipitous rewatching of the movie ‘Adaptation’ — a delightfully heady film from the early oughts. The name Zizzabee comes from the marvelous mind of a three year old enjoying one life’s simple pleasures, making silly sounds.
